Summary: It was fine but I’m not impressed with their housekeeping service. As told via a response to the “how is your stay going” text… The room sleeps 6. There are 4 people on our reservation. Every day housekeeping gives us 3 towels. We used the two disposable cups on day one, and there are no other cups in the room. They were never replaced. And the remote control batteries are low so it’s very slow and the TV tells us it needs to be swapped out. All of that in the text. They had responded to pre arrival texts so I know someone saw it. But for the remaining two days, we still had no cups and we still had 3 towels for 4 people and we still had a slow remote control. It was clean, the people were nice when we saw them, and I could have ignored the remote control and cup thing. But this is an Embassy Suites. Why would you repeatedly give us only 3 towels? There were 4 dirty ones after we got an extra from the front desk every day. That’s annoying.

Summary: I was very surprised when I first arrived at this hotel. When we first arrived to check in, we were completely ignored by the front office staff, after a few minutes they finally greeted us and said they would be with us in a few minutes. We finally checked in right about 6pm when they advised us that “happy hour” was 5:30-7:30. Happy hour was a complete joke. At 6:10pm almost all of the food was gone, and when I asked the wait staff if they would bring out any more items the answer was no. It should be said that happy hour is until it is gone, not till 7:30. Trying to get a drink from the bar meant dealing with a very unfriendly waitress. You can get a shot of alcohol with a soda. No other drinks. The AC in the hallway does not work. Then we went down to use the pool. There were no pool towels, and about 15 unsupervised young kids between the ages of probably 7-14. They were screaming running around and creating tik tok videos. I advised the front desk, but unfortunately she was one person and swamped with people checking in. Maybe we came the wrong the weekend, but I would look at other hotels before returning here for a vacation.

Summary: The hotel was one of the most quiet I have ever stayed in and the room was exceptional in appearance, cleanliness and amenities. Due to the location of the hotel, not having a place to grab a meal during the day was disappointing, The complimentary breakfast and happy hour was good, but some of the food options were not replenished in a timely manner. The food was tasty, but the wait staff in the lounge area was VERY inattentive. The "pantry" gift shop didn't have a great selection and the drink I purchased required a bottle opener, which I didn't realize until I was back up in my room, which also didn't have a bottle opener. The front desk clerk knew of this omission when I went back down...I wish they noticed when I made the purchase.

Summary: I’ll start with the positive: The breakfast staff were kind and efficient. One lady was very sweet and she was the only thing about this hotel that impressed me. Breakfast itself was pretty decent and there was a good variety. However, when I first entered the lobby to check in, it only took a few seconds to be disappointed by the unwelcoming, unfriendly front desk agent. Hilton - why on earth would you have an unhappy, grumpy person representing your entire hotel??? The front desk agent is EVERYTHING! I was immediately put off by the poor attitude. The suite itself was decent enough, but you are taking the no-frills thing way too far. Not even a shower cap? Not even water glasses in the ice tray? And charging $15 for parking even if you have a guest visiting for a few minutes? Seriously? This was the straw that broke the camel’s back. I will probably become a member with another hotel chain after this. Hilton has become disappointing.

Summary: We stay at this hotel because of the great breakfast but everything else is just average. Supplies in the room were low: one regular tea bag, one regular coffee pod, only two sugar packets and two paper cups, no all-day coffee bar. Not bad but not sure if we’ll stay here again.

Summary: Very convenient location to DC and Northern VA shops and restaurants. Decent variety at the evening reception despite the music being on the more invasive side. Staff was very courteous and attentive. We will return.
